Think Caramel Sauce but made from real Maple Syrup. This sauce is giving Fall vibes on cinnamon rolls, cobblers, Apple Pie, and an ice cream sundae topped with toasted pecans. You're welcome.

Ingredients
1 Cup Real Maple Syrup
2 Tbsp Butter, room temperature
¼ Cup Heavy Whipping Cream
Pinch of Flaky Sea Salt

In a small to medium saucepan, add the Maple Syrup and heat on medium heat. Bring to a gentle boil and turn down to low to simmer.
Attach candy thermometer to the the side of the pan and let Maple Syrup simmer until it reaches 230º F. This takes about 10-15 minutes.
When the syrup reaches 230º F, remove from the heat and stir in room temperature butter with a whisk. When the butter has melted, whisk in the heavy cream, and add a pinch of salt to taste.
Pour into a glass jar and let the sauce cool to room temperature. Store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
